 Who We Are
Dana Nachman and Don Hardy began working together in the summer of 2002 as they embarked on the production of their first documentary, "Close to Home" about the Bay Area victims of September 11th. At the time they were both on staff at the San Francisco NBC station. "Close to Home" went on to win an Emmy Award, Edward R. Murrow Award and Radio and Television News Director Association Award. The team's next project explored the controversy surrounding California's Medical Marijuana laws. "Pot and Politics: California vs. the United States won the Associated Press Award for Best Documentary. Hardy and Nachman continued their television work producing news, technology, environmental, and sports programs for NBC until 2008 when they moved into independent film making. Their debut film "Witch Hunt," was executive produced and narrated by Sean Penn and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Soon after Toronto, Witch Hunt was purchased by MSNBC Films. Since its acquisition "Witch Hunt" has been seen by more than four million people. Hardy and Nachman are currently working on their next documentary, "Love Hate Love" which is set to come out in the fall 2010.
